Double Exposure
I chose images of a candle, and an expressive light portrait of Abby for this double exposure shot. The images relate by having a strong contrast between positive and negative space. Both of the images have a sad, relaxing mood. I put both images in black and white, and adjusted the levels to make the candle brighter. The image conveys a feeling of peace.
I took my photographs at pierce beach. I selected this place because I go there with my little brother often. I unified the series of photos by putting them in chronological order, from my view of the day at the part. The photos follow a pattern of depth of field. They also show many different shapes and textures.
